What We Do
Confidential Personal Counseling – to police officers and emergency services personnel, their families and the community.
Ride-alongs – with officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel, encouraging and establishing trust, identifying with their daily pressures and responsibilities.
Emergency Services – Chaplains are available for on-scene support for all crisis intervention and assistance when needed, including assisting with death notifications.
Hospital and Home Visits – We assist in caring and supporting the first responders, families and communities.
Providing Critical Incident Debriefing and Defusing – we are part of the Central Oregon Critical Incident Stress Management (CO-CISM) Team and are available to assist following a critical incident or traumatic event, for officers, emergency services personnel, and the community.
Officer Training and Public Awareness – We help the officer and emergency services personnel and their family members maintain healthy relationships to enhance their careers. We provide training in a wide varity of topics.
To Educate the Community – We provide classes in schools and Citizen Academy events.
Officiating Services – celebrating with officers and emergency services personnel and their families in Wedding Celebrations, Vow Renewals, and Baby Dedications.
Providing pre- and post-marriage counseling and officiating at funeral services for officers, emergency services personnel, and our communities.
Training – We offer monthly training and specialized training to our chaplains and to the emergency service personnel of our communities.
Disaster Response – We assist with events such as 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, wildfires and many other emergencies.
Training Others – We are also involved starting Chaplaincy Programs in Yamhil County, Baker City and Baker County, Lakeview and Lake County, and Coos Bay, North Bend and Coos County.
